Based in Colorado, Nick of Time is a multi-instrumentalist and independent music producer specializing in Alternative Reggae Music.

Nick of Time focuses on original music which is simple, catchy and uniquely distinct in nature, where he plays all instruments and records, produces, and engineers each of his releases… With the exception of the trumpet, which is played by his father.

During his time with a local reggae band in Durango, Colorado, Nick of Time has shared the stage with artists such as Collie Buddz, Tarrus Riley, Dean Fraser, Ky-Mani Marley, Kabaka Pyramid, Iba MaHr, Niceness and many more.

Having released his first two singles in 2019, “Waiting for Daylight” debuted at #38 on iTunes Reggae Charts as an entirely independent release. Nick of Time recently released his third single “Hypnotized” which made its worldwide debut as the #12 song on the iTunes Reggae Charts and as the #2 newly released reggae song on iTunes and Apple Music. Nick of Time’s debut EP “The Harbinger” is coming out later this year.

From Nick of Time:

 Born and raised in Colorado, and deeply immersed in the roots/reggae/rock scene, I wanted to embark on the journey of spreading my music with the world. Music (specifically reggae music) has always been a major part of my life, and with my education in business, I established this endeavor as an independent record label and recording artist to ensure that I can control the pricing and design of my products and creations.  

I'm pursuing this entirely independently, and decided that it made more sense to take the time to learn each facet of the industry and play each instrument, rather than trying to pursue the traditional path of a band and record label. I've spent the last few years learning as much as I can in my free time to make this dream a reality. I've learned a lot along the way, and am finally at a point where I feel comfortable releasing music, but know there is much more to learn. I plan to continually improve with each release and get to the point where I can share my recording, production and promotional services with others.  

Over the years, I've written hundreds of songs which are scattered in various places (scrap paper, notebooks, messages, recordings and so on) and I've spent the last few years collecting and organizing my chaos. I'm thrilled to say I have a plethora of music to work on and release, and continue to write new tunes. I will work to steadily release original music and merchandise over the course of my life.
